Atlanta Web Designer with Compassion
I met with another client today who had the disappointing experience with a “friend” who she hired to do a website for her. Like so many others I have helped over the years, she just wanted someone in Atlanta to do Web Design for her. She had all her ideas lined up and even a sample site she showed him that she wanted to look like.
But sadly, as happens more often than not, her friend got stuck after spending what was obviously way too much time working on the site and stopped working and stopped returning calls, ergo another friendship bites the dust because another Atlanta want-to-be Web Designer found out the hard way that developinig a good website is indeed much tougher than it looks!
As she told me about her friend I could see the tension in her expression. She was clearly not wanting to loose the friendship. Nevertheless, she related to me that she really needed to get the site up and going as she had some deadlines related to some important meetings and other marketing coming up very soon.
So I just calmed her and assured her that her friend just probably got stuck and is probably embarrassed and that I would be happy to help finish the site up. I related to her that this sort of thing happens quite often and that she should not be too hard on her friend. After all I said, Atlanta Web Design is not as easy as it looks! In the end I was able to help her feel better about getting the site done and very releived that she was not the only one this has happened to.
I also felt good because I felt I had helped not only in her Atlanta Web Design needs but was also able to help save a friendship. Looking back on the experience I feel I can honestly say that I am really an Atlanta Web Designer with compassion!

It has also been my experience with many clients that have had a website designer before meeting me have had this same experience. In many cases, they go online and entrust a web designer they know nothing about usually for the lowest cost possible with their greatest possession - the image of their business. Many times the lingering feelings of distrust and disappointment are very hard to overcome. However, that is why relationship building is very important in any business.
